Week 3 of Vegetarian
Happy Tuesday! What a couple of weeks it has been. I am in my third week of vegetarianism and boy has it been interesting. In the first two weeks, I think my body was still on a keto-ish run. I was back to eating some starches and breads but my body wasn’t really gaining weight. It was awesome. Then I wake up yesterday and boy has that changed haha. The scale wasn’t nice and my pants were starting to get tight lol. So now I have started tracking my meals in MyFitnessPal to make sure I’m staying on or below target.
One thing that I have realized is that pre-made and/or fast food is the easiest for being vegetarian (for me). I’m terrible about meal prepping so coming home and having to actually cook something is nothing I want to do right now. Even with getting home earlier from the new job, I want to be outside with my dog or run a couple of errands. Not sit and cook. So my go to has been cheese pizza 😳I’ll add some veggies to it but I put it in the oven and it’s good in 20 minutes. So my goal moving forward is to try and semi-meal prep instead of the pre-made options. Because pizza every night is not gonna be great for me.
I am planning on starting back working out and running but I’ll be honest, my motivation to do it is null and void. I have no desire lately! So that means I’m gonna have to push myself to do it anyway. If I find something that helps me get back into it, I’ll let you know.
